Simon Jones
Simon grew up in and around wildlife parks in England and the US and has 20 years of experience designing and building sustainable tourism experiences in destinations around the world. Simon co-founded Solimar International, a tourism planning and development firm, growing and managing a portfolio of tourism projects in natural and cultural destinations as well as overseeing Solimar’s relationship with National Geographic's ‘Geotourism.' Simon has worked with businesses, national governments, tourism destinations, parks & protected areas, and non-government organizations in diverse countries and cultures. He has a Masters of Tourism Administration & Sustainable Destination Management from The George Washington University School of Business.

Neil Birnie
Neil qualified as a commercial lawyer in Scotland before working on European law and environmental policy within various EU institutions. He then co-founded the multi-award winning nature and adventure travel company Wilderness Scotland and has served as a non-executive Director of several conservation organisations in Europe and Africa.
In addition to his role as CEO his primary focuses within Conservation Capital’s technical advisory services division include commercial and legal structuring for protected areas, and all aspects of conservation tourism planning and development.

Milena Nikolova
Milena is an expert and researcher in behavioral economics in tourism with a global professional network and experience gained across four continents. She has worked on projects covering various aspects of sustainable tourism development, business and market development, policy and planning, learning and education, as well as entrepreneurship and innovation.
